The pick couldn't come soon enough. The president is hosting a health care summit this Thursday. It will bring together patients, insurers, drug companies, and lawmakers from both parties.
But critics aren't convinced that the administration's plans will fix the ailing health care system. "We're going down the path of having the government run health care, of us having to raise taxes, borrow more money, and spend even more money on top of this to do this," said Rep. Paul Ryan (R) Wisconsin.
As part of her job Sebelius will be in charge of the Obama administration's plan for universal health coverage.
