"We are urging residents to register their contact information so that they can take part in the notification process of this first test call." said Amber Smith, Office of Emergency Services Manager. "We want to remind the public that their will be a call sent, but this is a test procedure only.

Listed primary residential and business phones in Tulare County have automatically been included in the system. However, residents can opt-in by providing their complete information and indicate if they have a TTY/TDD device by visiting www.alerttc.com and entering their information into the secure database.
