Tulare County Reverse 911 Test

Tulare County Office of Emergency Services wants to remind Tulare County residents that the first County-wide AlertTC test call will take place on March 4, 2009. The AlertTC test message will be sent to residents and businesses as part of a mass notification system designed to keep the public informed of emergencies.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To register, residents can visit www.alerttc.com and enter their information electronically through the secure webpage, or call 559-737-4660 to request a registration form be mailed to them.

"We are urging residents to register their contact information so that they can take part in the notification process of this first test call." said Amber Smith, Office of Emergency Services Manager. "We want to remind the public that their will be a call sent, but this is a test procedure only.

To register, residents can visit www.alerttc.com and enter their information electronically through the secure webpage, or call 559-737-4660 to request a registration form be mailed to them.

Listed primary residential and business phones in Tulare County have automatically been included in the system. However, residents can opt-in by providing their complete information and indicate if they have a TTY/TDD device by visiting www.alerttc.com and entering their information into the secure database.
