An Explosion Killed a Modesto Soldier in Iraq

Modesto, CA, USA The department of defense made the announcement Monday. First Lieutenant Daniel B. Hyde died from injuries he received when his vehicle hit an explosive device in Tikrit.

The 24-year old was based in Hawaii.
