They claim there was outrageous government conduct during the investigation and prosecution of 11 members of the Hmong community including Vang Pao.
Federal prosecutors claim the men were plotting a violent overthrow of the Laotian government. Pao's supporters want an end to this nearly two year old case.
Paula Yang from the Hmong American AD HOC Committee said, "The judge is pressuring the prosecuting attorney to hurry up and either end the case or dismiss the case and move forward. Our lives are waiting for it."
A judge is scheduled to hear arguments on the motion to dismiss early next month.
