Pink Slip Friday protests were held Friday morning in Visalia. In the North Valley, a demonstration will be held at 2 this afternoon at the Madera Unified School District headquarters. In Fresno, protesters will gather at 2:30pm at Del Mar Elementary in Fresno and at 4:30 this afternoon at the Mariposa Arts Park.
Governor Schwarzenegger responded this morning by saying he went through extraordinary lengths to give schools more funding in tough economic times.
