March 15, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
Space Shuttle Discovery and its crew of seven astronauts launched Sunday on their way to the international space station. The shuttle was visible for more than four minutes after lifting off from Cape Canaveral. It took off about a month later because of a variety of problems, including a mysterious gas leak on Wednesday.

Discovery should arrive at the space station Tuesday to deliver one last set of solar wings and some equipment for a relatively new water recycling system.
