Officers from around the country will be in Oakland Friday to honor the four officers killed in the line of duty. Three of the officers were killed last Saturday after a shoot-out with a wanted parolee. The fourth officer was left brain dead and died at the hospital earlier this week. The parolee was shot dead by police.

60 Fresno Police Department officers, 20 motor officers and 40 officers, left leaving FPD headquarters to travel to Oakland for the police officers' funeral.

Oakland Police Department officers mark Dunakin, Ervin Romans, Daniel Sakai and John Hege were shot and killed Saturday in the worst one-day loss of officers in department history.

The suspect, 26-year old Lovelle Mixon, was killed in a standoff with police.

About 40 members of the Merced Police and Merced County Sheriff's Department, as well as Four Visalia Police officers will attend Friday's service.

Dispatchers from across the state, including one from Visalia, are volunteering to work for Oakland dispatchers so they can attend today's service.

You can watch the memorial service live on our website abc30.com. Services start at Oakland's Oracle Arena at 11 am.
