Shawna Kilbert Loses Battle with Cancer

Fresno, CA We checked in on Shawna Kilbert last thanksgiving as neighbors played a "Turkey Bowl" to raise money for her doctor's bills.

Kilbert was a school teacher and mother of two whose cervical cancer spread to her lungs and brain last year. She inspired a lot of people by keeping a diary about her fight online.

Shawna died Friday night at the age of 34.
