The 23 year old was booked into jail for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
But so far no charges have been filed against him. "I'm sorry that you guys have to be here today, but I feel like in the future this thing will come to pass and the truth will come out and I will be proven innocent." said Whitner.
Whitner is the third Bills player to have a run-in with the law this year. He is out of jail Sunday morning.
