Gov. Schwarzenegger Pitches Health Initiative in Fresno

Governor Schwarzenegger is in Fresno Monday talking about spending big money to train health care workers. The governor arrived in the Central Valley about a 10:30am on Monday morning. He visited Fresno City College, touring the campus before the press conference.

Schwarzenegger is in Fresno to announce a $32 million dollar plan to close the critical health care gap.

It's called the Allied Health Initiative. The $32-million public private partnership is aimed at adding thousands of health professionals such as lab techs, imaging specialists and pharmacists to California hospitals and other health care facilities over the next three years.
