It's the first time they've seen their son since he was arrested earlier this week.
Markoff is accused of killing a Massachusetts woman who advertised erotic massage services on the classified website Craigslist.
The visit to Markoff came the same day as investigators said they discovered his fingerprint in a Rhode Island hotel room.
That's where a stripper said she was tied up and held at gunpoint by a man. He met through Craigslist.
Police have not filed any charges in the Rhode Island incident.
Markoff has pleaded not guilty to murder charges from the Boston case and is also charged with robbing another masseuse he met on Craigslist at gunpoint.
