Visalia Pot Grower Gets 12 Pounds Back

Fresno, CA Wednesday he took all of his marijuana back home.

On two large carts, Visalia resident Richard Daleman and his attorney rolled out more than 25 containers full of marijuana.

Daleman was recently acquitted of possessing and cultivating marijuana for sales and now he got his marijuana back. And he can't help but enjoy the smell of it.

61-year old Daleman has a state medical marijuana prescription card after being recommended by two doctors that he use marijuana to ease the pain on a number of conditions he has.

Daleman's attorney thinks the jury found him not guilty not only because he needs it medically but because he doesn't smoke it.

After emptying all the marijuana into garbage bags to weigh it. He found it was all there. Just over 12 pounds.

Daleman unloaded and weighed it all out here in front of the courthouse so you can imagine it got quite a few stares from people passing by.

Deputies also seized 11 guns from his house when they arrested him, Daleman will be back in court next month to fight that charge.
