Melissa Huckaby Trial Developments

California News Melissa Huckaby is suspected of murdering eight-year old Sandra Cantu of Tracy.

Melissa Huckaby showed very little emotion at Friday's hearing. Her attorney once again declined to enter a plea to the murder charge. But the judge issued an order further making Sandra Cantu's death a mystery an artist rendering shows Melissa Huckaby staring blankly when her hearing started. The judge issued a gag order and forbidding video cameras into court.

Huckaby has been charged with killing 8-year-old Sandra Cantu and raping the little girl with an object.

Sandra's father Daniel Cantu did not attend the hearing, but a family friend read a statement.

The little girl from Tracy went missing in March. Her body was found in a drainage pond locked in a suitcase.

On Friday the judge sealed Sandra's autopsy and toxicology reports. ABC News legal analyst Dean Johnson believes the documents could be telling.

At Huckaby's first hearing she became emotional. Learning all the allegations against her. The D.A. is considering pursuing the death penalty.

A spokesperson from the San Joaquin County District Attorney Office said before the case moves forward. They are giving the defense hundreds of pages of evidence.

Melissa Huckaby remains in custody. She makes her next court appearance on May 22. Legal experts believe she will eventually plead not guilty to murder.
