Water Contaminated at Roosevelt Elementary

A Fresno County school has shut off it's drinking water because of contamination concerns.        |   Watch Video Above for More Information on this Story   |

Students at Roosevelt Elementary are now drinking bottled water and using portable hand washing stations.

On Monday, state water tests revealed bacterial contamination in the schools well water.

Officials are now treating the water with chlorine. Administrators say there may be a problem in a water line to the school.

School officials hope to have the drinking water back on by Friday.
