Kevin Mizner with Calvary Chapel Visalia said, "A potential candidate for the 2012 Presidential Race, Mike Huckabee, is in the South Valley mixing faith and politics."
Wednesday night, Huckabee met with donors at a fundraiser for this morning's Mayor's Prayer Breakfast in Visalia. The former Arkansas Governor ran for President last year and drew strong support from staunch social conservatives.
During his speech last night, Huckabee spoke out against abortion and same-sex marriage. Some of the Valley's top Republican Politicians believe he's the right candidate, because he's willing to take on potentially divisive issues.
Huckabee is the guest speaker at Thursday's morning prayer breakfast at the Visalia Convention Center.1,500 people are expected to attend.
