Madera County Probable H1N1 Case

Fresno, CA A second grade student at Pershing elementary was sent home last week with flu-like symptoms. Administrators say there were other sick children in the same class, but they're feeling better now.

School officials say the student will likely return to campus when there are no signs of sickness for at least 24 hours.

This is the only reported case of the h1-n1 flu in Madera County. In Tulare County, there are three confirmed cases and two probable cases. There are no reported cases in Fresno County.
