World's Largest Recyclable College Mascot

Fresno, CA Fresno State students set out to break a world record by building a big bulldog, with an important message.

This giant bulldog is made out of scrap metal and other recyclable materials, and it's billed as the world's largest recyclable college mascot.

The big dog is the brain child of Fresno State Marketing students, who got some help from local metal artist Chris Sorensen.

The students unveiled the mascot before Saturday's baseball game and invited the community to help fill it up with aluminum cans.

The goal was to promote the university as a green campus.
