A Southern California fifth grader is dealing with a disease that typically affects women much later in life, breast cancer. Hannah Powell-Auslam, breast cancer patient said, "I was just how could this happen, for me to have it, it's just shocking for her".

Hannah Powell-Auslam was diagnosed with a tumor in her breast earlier this year. She's only 10 years old.

She underwent a partial mastectomy to remove it. But now doctors say her cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. Hannah will soon have a second operation to try to remove the cancer again.

Doctors say this is the youngest breast cancer patient they have ever come across.
