Saint Agnes, Clovis Comm. Fined

Two of the Valley's biggest hospitals have been fined for medical practices that could cause serious injuries or even death.Clovis Community and Saint Agnes Medical Centers are among thirteen California hospitals -- that are being fined 25-thousand dollars by the State Health Department.

Clovis Community reportedly did not have a policy in place for giving patients medications that have potentially deadly side effects.

This is the third violation for St. Agnes -- which is accused of not recognizing a patient's health was getting worse.

The hospitals say the violations were the result of isolated incidents.
