According to court documents, women's retailer "/*Forever 21*/" had filed a bid to take over the lease of /*Gottschalks*/ /*River Park*/ and /*Visalia Mall*/ locations.
The company also wants to buy the Hanford Mall Gottschalks, and take over Gottschalks leases in other California cities, as well as stores in Washington and Alaska.
Liquidators are selling off all of the bankrupt department stores merchandise, and the company's 61 stores are expected to close in July.
