Proposition 8 Could be Decided Tuesday

California News The justices also will decide whether to uphold the 1,800 gay marriages that took place before proposition 8 passed. Gay rights advocates have scheduled marches throughout California and in several other states tomorrow evening.

Gay rights supporters said if they lose this legal battle, they'll try to have proposition 8 repealed.
