A shocking allegation has been revealed about a South Valley pistachio plant at the center of a recent salmonella scare.Food safety inspectors said Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, knew some of its pistachios were tainted back in October, but continued shipping nuts for another 6 months.

The F.D.A. issued a sweeping national warning in March, for consumers to avoid eating pistachios, but there have been no reports of anyone getting sick from tainted nuts.

Officials haven't said if Setton will face sanctions
