The show will feature aerobatic performers, rare world war two bombers, as well as a car show, and other entertainment.
Organizers say this is the largest air show to come to the central valley in more than a decade.
Richard farinelli, airshow sponsor said, "it's really nice, it's good for Madera because the economy right now. Every one of the hotels, absolutely full; from Fresno to Chowchilla."
The activity at the Madera municipal airport continues all weekend. Organizers are expecting up to 30,000 people over the course of three days. .
