Second Grad Ceremony at Hanford High

The procession was little more than half the size of the first ceremony, and the stands in the stadium weren't as full. But the 219 young men and women, more than half the graduating class, and their parents were saying, better late than never. New grad Melissa Davis says it was worth coming back again. "Walking the line, just, it's what we worked for all four years."

Last Thursday, after many graduates received their diplomas, the warning of bad weather caused the principal to call things off. Graduate Michael Boschetti was about to receive his diploma, when the ceremony ended.

"It kinda sucked because I was so excited, because it was my big moment. Got ruined by the weather, but we're here now, and that's what counts."
