Texas deputy Tasers 72-year-old woman

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas Police said the trouble started when Officer Chris Beizie asked Kathryn Winkfein to sign her speeding ticket.

"Take me to jail. I'm a 72 year old woman," Winkfein says to Beizie, getting out of the truck.

"Give me the --- thing and just let me sign it. Get over here now, give it to me, and I'll sign it," she said.

Winkfein does not listen to the deputy, and instead attempts to walk around Beizie. He pushes her backwards, reportedly to get her out of traffic, and warns her if she doesn't step back, he'll use his Taser on her.

But Winkfein doesn't budget.

"Go ahead and Tase me," she said to the deputy.

After a few more warnings, the officer Tased her, and Winkfein can be heard on dash cam video screaming as she is being Tased.

Winkfein was not seriously injured by the incident and was taken to jail.

Authorities said the officer was justified in his actions.

Winkfein has been charged with resisting arrest, which is a misdemeanor.
