MLB Teams Tap the Valley's Talent

Our Valley continues to be a hotbed for Major League Baseball talent. Day two of the MLB Draft saw six players with local ties get selected.Including Fresno State's Alan Ahmady, who was taken by the St. Louis Cardinals. He was joined by Bulldog pitcher Holden Sprague who was later taken by the Marlins in the 28th round.

Edison High's TJ Mcdonald's name was called in the 30th round and taken by the Blue Jays.
