2009 Rumble to the Summit

Fresno, CA This year's rumble to the summit kicked off this morning at the Clovis Rodeo grounds, the bikers then headed up toward sierra summit at their own pace, making stops along the way in order to hang out with friends and also pick up tickets that could amount to a cash prize later.

All of the proceeds go toward the Make A Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to sick children.

Diana Rambo with Make A Wish Central California said, "We've made more than 1.5 million dollars in the 13 years. So it's been a hugely successful event."

Eric Stidham, from Monterey said, "A buddy and I rode in all the way from Monterey. So we'll go up there to the summit have some lunch and dinner, meet the folks up there and then we'll head home tonight".

The event continues tonight, with an after party at the Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino.
