Car Vs Golf Cart

Fresno, CA The CHP says the couple was driving a small farm vehicle along the shoulder on Manning Avenue, off Highway 99 near fowler Friday evening. A minivan was heading the same way on the street. That's when officers say, for some reason, the couple swerved in front of the van.

Their vehicle was hit and destroyed; the couple was airlifted to the hospital with major injuries.

The driver of the van was also hurt, and was not cited for the accident.
