A man is in the hospital after getting into a chase with Fresno Police officers with a child in his car. It all started when an officer tried to pull over a minivan for having no front license plate in Southwest Fresno.

When the driver failed to stop, a chase started. It ended all the way in Clovis at Harvard and Santa Ana. At that point, the driver and his teen passenger started running.

The man ran into a home believed to be his own and threatened to hurt himself. Police were able to take the man into custody and took him to the hospital for treatment. The teen was detained and released to his family.

The driver is now charged with evading a police officer and child endangerment charges.
