New Evidence in Michael Jackson's Death

The mystery over Michael Jackson's death could soon be solved as investigators look over evidence from the superstar's home.Officials with the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office returned to the mansion, Jackson was renting and left with two large plastic bags of medication. Meantime, Jackson's family has moved quickly to take charge of the singer's children and assets.

Investigators from the coroner's office returned to the house where Michael Jackson died, collecting two plastic bags of potentially crucial evidence; more medication. Despite reports of prescription drug abuse, Mark Lester, the godfather of Jackson's children paints a very different picture. "I've never seen Michael take anything, and as far as I knew he was very anti-drug. So, I'm really shocked by this, and if there is any truth in it then someone really needs to take responsibility because that, that would not have been Michael."

New pictures showing Michael Jackson rehearsing for his concert tour two nights before his death have only added to the mystery of why the singer died so suddenly.

"It is the determination of the family to be careful and deliberate on how they plan his celebration of life because we're talking about an historic figure that really changed pop culture around the world," said Civil Rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton.

Funeral plans may have been put on hold, but the legal battles have already begun. The king of pop's mother, Katherine, was granted limited control of her son' s property and temporary custody of Michael's three children. Her husband Joe told reporters that the kids should be with their grandparents. "We're going to take care of them, give them the education they're supposed to have."

Reportedly, a will drafted by Michael Jackson in 2002 divides the singer's estate among his mother, three children and one or more charities, but not his father Joe.
