A new thrift store is opening in Clovis where you can practice penny-pinching and patriotism.
Secondhand Rose located on the Northwest corner of Shaw and Armstrong in Clovis, will sell new and gently used items. 40% of the sales will go toward military families in need. And any veterans or members of the military who shop there will also receive a discount.
Owner Patty Crocker said, "All the military that's been deployed, they've made the ultimate sacrifice. So we give a little time, effort and our things and maybe we can make a difference in a couple of families."
The store still needs donations: including clothing, baby items, kitchen items, sporting goods, and linens and bedding.
