Inmate Killed at Pleasant Valley Prison

An inmate at a State Prison In Fresno County has been shot and killed by a Correctional Officer during a riot.State Officials just confirmed that it happened this morning at the Pleasant Valley Prison in Coalinga.

About 75 prisoners were involved in the riot on the prison's general population yard.

Correctional Officers used chemical agents, rubber rounds, and eventually, live guns, to break it up.

Two inmates were hospitalized with gunshot wounds, including the one who was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
