During that traffic stop, they learned the three men had just confronted someone they thought to be a rival gang member at a nearby party.
Witnesses told Police the 17-year-old pulled out a gun and threatened the victim, but partygoers were able to force the three men out of the home before any more violence.
That gun was found in the suspect's vehicle, and Police said it had been reported stolen from a Parlier home last year.
