Massive Marijuana Bust near Madera Lakes

Two people in the North Valley have been arrested following a massive pot bust at a cornfield near Madera Lakes.The Madera County Sheriff's Department arrested 18 year old Paul Teseda and 39 year old Teresa Tapia after finding more than 10-thousand plants growing in a cornfield north of Madera Lakes and just south of Raymond in north east Madera County.

Agents also took in one and a half pounds of processed marijuana and packaging materials. Six children living in the home with both suspects have been taken into custody by CPS.

Bail for Teseda and Tapia has been set at 150-thousand dollars each.
