HWY 41 Memorial for Triple Fatal Accident Victims

A memorial is growing along Highway 41 to honor the three Chuckchansi Casino employees killed when an accused drunk driver crashed into their car.The accident happened Thursday on Highway 41 near Bellview, or the 22 Mile House.

Saturday, you could see fresh roses at the scene, along with crosses for each of the victims. 36-year-old Maria Flores-Rodriguez, 38-year-old Elena Mendoza and 29-year-old Estela Frias died instantly. Two other women in the car survived.

Justin rice is facing six felony charges in connection with the accident. Police said the Ventura man was so high on marijuana and possibly meth that he didn't even know he was in an accident.
