Authorities are responding to reports that a student was shot at Skyline College in San Bruno Wednesday afternoon. A young, male student ran into a learning center classroom saying that he had been shot, according to Andrew Lidwell, editor of the student newspaper, The Skyline View. Students in the class say the man was bleeding.

Police are searching for four suspects.

The college is on lockdown. Students on campus have been advised to shelter in place away from windows with doors shut until further notice, but groups of students are being evacuated from the campus.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital.
