Big Meadow Fire Burned 7,240 Acres, 70 Percent Contained

Firefighters are making progress on the "Big Meadow" fire burning in Yosemite National Park.Smoke can still be seen throughout the park. More than 72-hundred acres have burned. The fire is now 70-percent contained.

The Crane Flat and Tamarack Flat campground remain closed, along with the cabins at Foresta.

Firefighters expect to have it fully contained next week.
