waddling out of a store. The case of brew weighed 20 pounds. Capt. David McDavid

RUTHSBURG, Md. (AP) - Mechelle Suitt has a whale of melon. The watermelon the
Maryland woman grew weighed in at 138 pounds. Suitt says a cashier told her the
seeds she was buying were unusual. A few months later she found out why. The
giant melon was displayed for a while at a produce stand near Suitt's home. Over
the weekend, the monster melon was carved up. Suitt says she's getting all sorts
of requests for seeds. But she saved them for neighbors, family and her pastor.
