The fire started around 9:00 Thursday night.
75 firefighters were on scene, some from as far away as the coast because local firefighters are battling other fires across the state.
Extra crews were dispatched Thursday night because the high winds drove the flames dangerously close to several homes.
No evacuations were ordered.
Fire crews were able to fully contain the fire in about an hour. Firefighters are still on the scene Friday night mopping up.
