It took fire crews two hours to pry the driver out of the vehicle. The man was taken to Community Regional's Trauma Center with several broken bones, but he's expected to make a full recovery.
"We have to basically peel every piece of metal every piece of plastic off his body first. And as you can tell it is going to hurt, it's going to be painful, we have to stabilize the victim as we're doing so," said Fresno Firefighter Tony Escobedo.
The apartment manager said this is the second time in as many months that someone has driven a car onto her property. She said she'll ask city leaders to consider speed bumps on her street.
