Georgia Man Charged with 8 Murders

September 6, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
The 16-year-old brother of the Georgia man charged with killing his father and seven others claims police have the wrong man. Police found the victims after a frantic 911 call from the suspect.Police said two pieces of information came forward linking Guy Heinze, junior, to the eight murders. They originally arrested him for tampering with evidence, drug possession, and lying to police, but they released him on bond yesterday.

Two hours later, they re-arrested him for murder. At a funeral for the family today, Heinze's teenage brother said drugs probably motivated the murders, but that his big brother never would've hurt his family.
