Former School Manager Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

Fresno, CA The former business manager of Orange Center Elementary, Leonard Robinson, accepted responsibility Wednesday for embezzling more than $400-thousand dollars from the Fresno County school.

Robinson worked at the school for 21 years. School officials said they discovered the money was missing during an audit earlier this year.

Detectives claim Robinson signed checks to himself over a four year period. A judge indicated that Robinson is likely to spend time in prison. The man will learn his punishment in November.
