September 11, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT
The bagpipes played during a special tribute at the Pelco headquarters in Clovis Friday morning. This is an annual event which includes firefighters and other emergency personnel who fly out from New York to attend. There's also a special plaque to honor the men and women who died that day. One former New York firefighter in attendance said it is hard for him to forget the past. "To me it just happened. It's the same on this day. I mean, as the years go on it's easier to put it behind me but when it gets back around this time it's right there again," said Andrew Isolano.

As part of today's memorial service, the emergency radio transmissions from 9/11 were also played.

Many said they don't ever want to forget the events of September 11, 2001.
