A Deputy said Eppler pulled up next to her at Shaffer and Bellevue and hit the gas in his minivan.
He got it up above 80 miles per hour and swerved all over the road before he finally slammed on the brakes at Buhach and Bellevue.
After Eppler was arrested, he couldn't explain why he wanted to race a Sheriff's Deputy.
