Those restaurants also closed last week, only to reopen one day later. The franchise owner owes more than one-million dollars in back state taxes and has since filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.
No word yet on how the bankruptcy will affect the future of local Jack in the Box Restaurants. The TGI Friday's in Fresno remains open and serving the public.
