A library in Colorado is dealing with an unusual collection, not books, but bed bugs. The Denver Public Library says one of its avid readers recently returned books infested with bed bugs.

The books were volumes of rare classic literature. The library says the customer was aware of the problem. And after he was informed, he returned more books with bedbugs.

The library was fumigated. 31 books worth an estimated 12-thousand dollars had to be destroyed. The reader has now been banned from the library, and fined the 12-thousand dollars to replace the books.
