A judge heard the preliminary hearing against 26-year-old /*Enrique Gonzalez*/ and /*Travis Gorman*/. Investigators say Gonzales held down his 7-year-old son while Gorman tattooed a Bulldog paw print on the child's stomach. Police say the paw print is considered a symbol of Bulldog gang membership.
The child's mother reported the incident. Gonzales faces a life sentence in prison if convicted of aggravated mayhem.
Defense Attorney Doug Foster said, "Ultimately, his dad gave in. It was a stupid decision on his dad's part. He is willing to pay the consequences for that, but it's not aggravated mayhem. This isn't something that justifies as life sentence."
The judge listened to all the evidence Monday. On Friday ... she is scheduled to announce if Gorman and Gonzalez will go to trial for this case.
