Despite the advice from Doctor Ron Lichtenstein, pregnant women can't get the vaccine just yet. Their immune systems aren't strong enough for the nasal version out now because it contains a live virus. Pregnant women will need to wait until the government releases the injectible vaccine.
The vaccine has been safely tested on more than 4,000 people, including pregnant women and children. But experts say anyone who is allergic to eggs should avoid the vaccine.
