The man was shot in the leg on Vassar near San Pablo just after 9AM.
Police rushed to the scene and closed off the streets with crime scene tape after they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Officers got the man to a hospital where he had surgery. Now, they're trying to get information about who shot him.
