Attempted Kidnapping in Hanford

Parents and police in Hanford are keeping a closer eye on the kids after two men tried to kidnap a girl on her way to school.Police said the 14-year-old was walking along the 400 block of Leland Way Wednesday morning, when two men in an older model gray van yelled at her to get into their vehicle.

Police said one of the men got out of the van and grabbed the girl, ripping her shirt, but she was able to pull away. They said the man then pushed the girl to the ground and got back in the van.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hanford police.
